Redfin Welcomes June Agent Hires

It’s my honor to introduce you to our June Newfins! I’m excited to welcome this group of talented lead agents and look forward to seeing what they achieve at Redfin.

I love seeing so many returning Redfinnians like Julie Granahan, who is joining our Seattle team after two years at Compass. Julie previously spent six years as one of our top agents in West Seattle, and is now shifting her focus to Seattle’s bustling Eastside communities including Kirkland and Bellevue, where she grew up. 

“I’m coming back with a fresh perspective and more passion for Redfin than ever,” Julie said. “You just can’t replace the level of support you get here, which is especially important as I prepare to ramp up my business under Redfin Next. I can work with more clients and still spend more time connecting with each one of them, listening to their stories and addressing their unique needs–those are the things that I love about this job. It feels like I’m home again.”

We’re also welcoming some tenured agents like Jin Hong to Redfin for the first time. Jin is joining our Orange County team from eXp, along with his teammate Silvia Han. They are part of a new program we began piloting in early June that allows two Redfin lead agents to formally partner and run their business as a team.

“Redfin Next has changed the way I think about Redfin,” Jin said. “I love being able to earn based on my performance, and the splits are good especially considering that Redfin pays for my staff and marketing and takes on the stress of running the back end of my business. Most of my clients come from word of mouth and referrals, but I can also get great leads from Redfin when I need them. It’s like insurance to make sure I’m always busy and moving forward.”
