California Dreamin’: $130M Bel Air Estate Tops July’s Priciest Home Sales

July’s top four priciest home sales were in Southern California, followed by two Manhattan townhouses, a handful of Florida estates and an Arizona compound. 

A famous Bel Air estate known as Casa Encantada was the most expensive U.S. home sale of July, fetching $130 million. It was also the second-most expensive home sale of 2026 so far. 

Next come three other dreamy Southern California homes: A beachfront Malibu mansion, an architectural gem in Orange County, and a  Beverly Hills compound

The most expensive mid-summer sales also include two Manhattan townhouses and three oceanfront Florida estates. Also among July’s most expensive home sales: A massive Arizona estate, complete with an indoor go-kart racing track, that was the Grand Canyon State’s priciest sale ever. 

All 10 of July’s most expensive homes sold for at least $40 million.

  2. 27832 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, CA 90265: Sold for $55 million
  3. 3512 Ocean Blvd., Corona Del Mar, CA 92625: Sold for $48.5 million 
  4. 1210 Benedict Canyon Dr., Beverly Hills, CA 90210: Sold for $47.8 million 
  5. 217 W. 57th St Unit 113, New York City, NY 10019: Sold for $47 million 
  6. 48-50 W. 69th St., New York City, NY 10023: Sold for $45 million 
  7. 1107 Hillsboro Mile, Hillsboro Beach, FL 33062: Sold for $42 million 
  8. 5531 E. Mockingbird Ln., Paradise Valley, AZ 85253: Sold for $40.2 million 
  9. 3220 Rum Row, Naples, FL 34102: Sold for $40.2 million 
  10. 145 Palm Ave., Miami Beach, FL 33139: Sold for $40 million

    6. 820 S Ocean Blvd., Manalapan FL 33462: Sold for $62.5 million in May 
    7. 2910 Sycamore Canyon Rd., Montecito, CA 93108: Sold for $59.9 million in April
    8. 70 Vestry St Unit PHS, New York City, NY 10013: Sold for $57 million in February 
    9. 1610 N. Ocean Blvd., Palm Beach, FL 33480: Sold for $55.2 million in April
